Atlanta is ready to host your event!
Meetings are back in Atlanta, and the safety and health of visitors is our top priority. There are no government restrictions on hosting meetings and conventions in our city, and Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) remains engaged with local and state officials as groups continue to return in person. Our hospitality partners continue to take measures to safeguard guests as we welcome you back.
MASK AND VACCINATION GUIDELINES
The city of Atlanta’s indoor mask mandate has been lifted and masks are optional inside Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Private business owners can require patrons to show proof of vaccination.

CONVENTION CENTERS
Georgia World Congress Center
Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) is the first facility in the U.S. to achieve GBAC STAR accreditation. The designation recognizes the convention center’s commitment to cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention. GBAC is the leading trade association for the cleaning industry. GWCC leaders are also co-chairing an International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) Events Industry Health & Safety Advisory Council focused on venue hygiene, sanitation and employee training best practices, furthering its leadership role in helping set guidance for delivering a safe and healthy environment for all event venues in the industry.
While there are no government restrictions on hosting meetings and conventions in Atlanta, GWCC still works in lockstep with each group to create the safest and most compelling guest experience possible. GWCC constantly updates and executes a comprehensive safety and operational plan designed to meet the needs of each customer.
Over the past several months, GWCC hosted events ranging in size from several hundred to more than 40,000 people while working with the CDC and Georgia Department of Public Health to ensure the right safety protocols are in place.
Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart
AmericasMart has successfully hosted numerous in-person events during the last year. Entry points to each building are controlled to manage the flow of customers, and masks are strongly encouraged but are not required for vaccinated attendees. Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the campus, and physical distancing measures for queues, foot traffic, restrooms and other areas will be implemented as needed.
