Shops You’ll Find Only in Atlanta
Atlanta has plenty of places to shop that are off the beaten path, but you just need to know where to go. That perfect gift or souvenir might be waiting for you at a nighttime market, within a neighborhood boutique or inside a co-op that celebrates the city’s diverse culture. Here are only a few of Atlanta’s out-of-the-ordinary shopping stops for memorable items, apparel and even plants.
Pullman Yards Chefs Market
Atlanta’s largest weekly food festival is a market-meets-bazaar with more than 30 local and regional food, beverage and artisan vendors. Happening each weekend at Pullman Yards, the market also features live music and interactive entertainment, elevating this market a little higher on the festive spectrum. Come Fridays from 6-11 p.m. and Saturdays from 4-10 p.m., and stay tuned for special events like the AAPI Night Market (every fourth Friday) and the Mercado de la Noche (every third Friday). While you’re there, take advantage of the 17,000-square-foot beverage hall called AlcoHall and restaurants Zarate Kitchen – a Filipino pop-up – and Fishmonger II, a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand pick.
