Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau Hires Josh Baer as Senior Accounting Manager

Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) announces the hiring of Josh Baer as senior accounting manager. Baer will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable and receivable as well as the general ledger, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.

Baer brings more than 20 years of accounting experience to this role. Prior to ACVB, Baer served as controller at Piedmont Driving Club where he coordinated month-end close processes, managed annual audits and prepared the annual operating and capital budgets. Baer received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University and a Master of Business Administration with an accounting concentration from University of Dallas.
