Outdoor Enthusiast
If you love the outdoors, you’re in for a real treat in the fall. Atlanta is brimming with beautiful green space and trees to see fall color. If backpacking piques your interest, Atlanta is just a 90-minute drive to the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail, located near Amicalola Falls. Is there anything better than a warm and full belly on a cold day? Fall is known for harvest and thanksgiving after all. The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival takes place at various locations across Atlanta from Sept. 12 through 15. Chattahoochee Nature Center welcomes guests of all ages to the 9th annual outdoor food and craft beer festival, Harvest on the Hooch on Sept. 22. Grand Tasting Midtown is an event by Taste of Atlanta for guests 21+ to experience unlimited tastes from 25 of Atlanta’s best restaurants and includes wine, beer and cocktail tastings, a dessert bar, live music and more on Oct. 17. The Atlanta Chili Cook Off takes place at Brook Run Park on Saturday, Nov. 16. Get the MICHELIN experience year round at one of these MICHELIN-rated Atlanta restaurants.
Solo Dates
As we enter the ‘ber months it’s important to take some time for yourself. Consider what might bring you the most joy and plan a solo date or two. Celebrate Pride
Celebrated around National Coming Out Day (Oct. 11), the Atlanta Pride Festival and Parade takes place in October in Midtown. Celebrate with a weekend of programming and festivities for all, starting with the 2024 Georgia Aquarium Pride Kickoff Party.
