Into fitness? Start your visit to the Westside with an early morning walk or run at Westside Reservoir Park. As the largest green space in the city at 280 acres, Westside Reservoir Park, formerly known as Bellwood Quarry, is the perfect place for a morning stroll or jog. Amid picturesque walking paths and scenic environs, you can take in a view of the 350-foot-deep reservoir holding 2.4-billion gallons of emergency water reserves.
Black Coffee ATL
With a visit to Black Coffee ATL, your morning can only get better. Grab a cup of coffee “with a shot of culture” at this locally owned coffee shop. With a space designed for artists, entrepreneurs and visitors to convene; it definitely invites you to stay a while. Take your cup of joe to go and wander the artsy Castleberry Hill neighborhood.
Castleberry Hill Historic Arts District
More than just a neighborhood, the Castleberry Hill historic arts district is a good place to continue your morning excursion through the Westside. Add some spice to your adventure by walking around Castleberry Hill where you will find coffee shops, restaurants, bars and green spaces. Come back in the evening and let the nighttime beats and memorable murals guide you.
Atlantic Station
Kick off the afternoon with a little shopping at Atlantic Station. The upscale area with an open-air mall at its center is the perfect family-friendly hangout. From the wide range of dining options, shopping experiences and an opportunity to take in the history at the Millennium Gate Museum, Atlantic Station is one of the city’s hot spots. Pop-up events and weekend markets are held frequently at Atlantic Station.
The Home Depot Backyard
Cheering on your favorite team at Mercedes-Benz Stadium? Try a tailgate at The Home Depot Backyard. The beautiful 11-acre green space with perfect views of the stadium and a bright mural, this is the perfect space to catch some sun or get hyped before a game. If you’re visiting during the week you can get a free workout during the evening fitness series.
Westside Motor Lounge
Westside Motor Lodge offers an escape after you’ve fueled up with morning exercise and lunch. This new Westside hot spot consists of three vacant auto repair shops transformed into a dynamic indoor-outdoor escape perfect for people also interested in a unique culinary experience. At almost three acres, this lounge includes a restaurant and bar, cocktail lounge, game room, listening room, event space and a courtyard equipped with a beer garden, music stage, games, a fire pit, cabans and a food truck. It’s a great place to start a night out on the town.
Barcelona Wine Bar
Looking for a warm and welcoming meal? Barcelona Wine Bar provides just that. Enjoy tapas inspired by the culture of Spain with an award-winning selection of wines from Spain and South America. You can check out the happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday or enjoy Saturday and Sunday brunch from noon to 3 p.m.

After you finish up at Westside Provisions District you can meander across the street and visit one of the Westside’s newest destinations for a night to remember at The Interlock. Play a game of minigolf at Puttshack or grab a drink and visit rooftop L.O.A for beautiful views, a rooftop pool and eats. Stop by the Bellyard Hotel’s Drawbar for more rooftop views. Palo Santo
Take in delicious flavors of modern Mexican cuisine at this supper club-style restaurant and rooftop. Open until 11 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Sundays; it provides the perfect opportunity to watch the sunset while overlooking West Midtown.
Terminal West
Nothing beats a night of entertainment. End your night with a bang (or band) by catching a concert at Terminal West. Some notable musicians who have performed here include Kevin Morby, Calexico and Sudan Archives.
